NO EMINENT DOMAIN FOR PRIVATE COMPANIES!

Eminent domain, the process of seizing property for public use with fair compensation, is constitutional but greatly abused.

We need to end the use of eminent domain for the benefit of private companies.  The biggest abuser of this is pipeline companies in Texas, but power transmission companies also use it.  The inanimate objects flowing through pipelines and transmission towers don't care how circuitous the route they take.

We have to stop the use of eminent domain for use by any high speed rail company, especially the Japanese one working on the Dallas - Houston line.  And toll roads that will be leased to private companies should not use eminent domain, either.
