It's Official!

I am running for Texas House District 17 in the March, 2026 GOP primary!

I officially announce that I am running in the March 3, 2026 Republican primary to be the State Representative from House District 17 (Caldwell, Bastrop, Lee, Milam, and Burleson Counties)!

Texas families must be free, safe, and financially secure. That won't happen when we compromise or share power with Democrats, who want to teach destructive ideas to our children and open our borders. Our Texas House Republicans must assert strong leadership to push a Republican agenda, and yet too many Republicans still prioritize special interest and Democrat issues rather than focus on our conservative priorities.

Our current representative sided with Democrats to select House leadership and ignored the majority of the Republican caucus. That betrayal is unacceptable because that won't help our families be free, safe, or financially secure.

It's not a matter of whether we got a few wins after lots of grassroots effort, despite the Uniparty leadership of the Texas House. It's a matter of whether we did everything that had to be done. Issues such as real property tax relief, election integrity, and stopping taxpayer services to illegals remained unresolved at the end of the session. We must do better.

That starts with getting a fighter with clear vision into office, and I am that fighter. As a citizen, I've been championing these issues harder than our current representative who often copies my positions and mimics my activity. For the future of our children and grandchildren, I ask you to join me to work for a MAGA Texas House that prioritizes our issues and values.

I cannot serve you without your help. I have had more offers of volunteer help and financial support than ever before. The challenge of my campaign is to effectively coordinating your help to reach the GOP primary voters in the district who do not focus on what is going on at the Texas Legislature.

I have several plans for how to step up the game in terms of reaching the voters we need to reach in order to win. More on that as we go.
